The Project
Idiomatic is an official English language educational series published by Oxford University Press (OUP). It is tailored specifically for upper secondary school students, such as those preparing for the Bachillerato and FP vocational routes in Spain, and focuses closely on preparing them for university entrance exams like the PAU (Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad).
The Brief
To create three different types of videos: Social Media videos modelling real, spoken English created by high-profile influencers, Documentaries exploring nuanced concepts, and walk-throughs guiding students through each module.
The Results
Idiomatic is an OUP course leaning into contemporary language use. Three video strands run through it: creator-led social videos, short documentaries and a per-unit walkthrough that orients students inside each chapter.
Social Media
We worked with a range of Content Creators based all over the world (Spain, Turkey, USA, UK, UAE and others) to create authentic social media videos using key functional phrases in a fun and entertaining way.
Documentary
12 short documentaries on everything from the nature of time and sensory art to the wellbeing industry and the reading habits of teenagers. Each video breaks high concepts down into short understandable chunks for teenage learners.
Unit Walkthrough
A video walking students through each unit, including the key topics, language, and exercises they'll encounter.
